As 2025 comes to a close, the staff at the Design Build Remodeling Group of Maryland is reflecting back on another successful year of creative collaborations, and meaningful home remodels throughout the Central Maryland area. The company has been providing thoughtful design, quality construction and a positive remodeling experience based on trust for over 30 years. It’s easy to see why we love what we do by looking at the success of all the many wonderful projects we completed this past year alone.
This past year we worked with homeowners in Montgomery, Howard, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties on a variety of large scale remodeling projects including whole house remodels, custom kitchen remodels, second story additions and ADU remodels. Each project was customized specifically to meet the needs of the homeowner and their family.
Because we use an integrated design/build process, our homeowners were able to work with one single team of professionals from the beginning to end of the remodeling process. As such, we were able to manage all aspects of the project including the architectural drawings, permitting and inspections, as well as the actual construction itself. Many of our homeowners praised our ability to be transparent, responsive, and attentive to detail, especially during the complexities of renovating a home.
It’s always fun to share the many stories of our happy homeowners who now enjoy their new space. New kitchens provide a space to gather; new additions allow families to grow and thrive; new floor plans create better daily routines. These are the types of changes that make our work so meaningful.
For 2026, we believe that there will be even more opportunities for homeowners to continue to improve and update their homes in order to meet their ever-changing needs. There continues to be a trend towards homeowners improving their existing homes versus moving to a different location. Additionally, there will be a continued focus on making improvements that add comfort, functionality and long-term value to the home.
In addition to continuing to provide whole-home renovations, we also anticipate that there will be a significant increase in demand for in-law suites, multi-generational living spaces, modern kitchen and bathroom remodels, and other home improvements that provide flexible spaces to accommodate extended family members. Homeowners are increasingly looking for designers and builders that can provide them with a variety of design options that can support their evolving lifestyle, whether it be due to the need to age-in-place, working from home, or creating flexible spaces for extended family members.
We are excited to continue to guide our homeowners through the entire remodeling process, from initial design concept to final construction. With extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations, we are confident that we can assist our homeowners in making educated and informed decisions regarding their home improvement projects.
